A festival of books is my idea of heaven. Come join me in heaven this Saturday at Printers Row Lit Fest, the Midwest’s largest outdoor literary festival. Hundreds of authors and book sellers, about 150,000 book lovers in two days and about a million books. Well, that last number might be an exaggeration but it might not be….
I will be signing copies of my new five-star rated book, "A Storm of Stories," as well as my best-selling crime novel "Painting With Fire" at the Chicago Writers Association's tent from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. You can find me under Tent A, at the entrance gate at West Congress Parkway and S. Dearborn St.
Why should you come out? Because it’s crazy fun. It is the best place to snag signed copies of awesome books. If you have any questions about the writing and publishing process, this is the place to be. Buy a book and ask away. You can also bring your family. There’s usually music for kids and face painting.
I like having a chance to get a pulse on who my readers are, how people respond to my back jackets and pitches, and what they think of my premises. I also like the buzz of the crowd. These are people who love books like I do. These are my people.
